Huawei and ZTE tech banned in USA
USA is in the process to ban the use Huawei and ZTE technology. Yes, you heard right that USA is banning the use of communication equipments made by Huwaei and ZTE technology. Trump has signed a bill under Defense Authorization Act to avoid the use of Huwaeia nd ZTE technology equipments.The ban covers the use of Huawei and ZTE components or services that are “essential” or “critical” to the system they’re used in. Some components from these companies are still allowed, so long as they cannot be used to route or view data.
Ren Zhengfei, a former engineer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army, founded Huawei in 1987. It provide services to the 45 out of 50 to the largest telecom perators.The company is now the world’s biggest telecoms equipment manufacturer, beating out the likes of Sweden’s Ericsson and Finland’s Nokia (ZTE is in fourth place). It’s also the second-biggest phone manufacturer, still behind Samsung but ahead of Apple in terms of shipments. As the owner of the comapny is a former army engineer, USA finds threat to his security. The company can invade into the country's communication network and can weakens its functioning.
USA is also urging other countries like Germany, Italy and Japan to ban the use of Huwaei equipments as they share the millitary bases and thsi can cause a threat to the security.India is still using its equipmenst to its fullest.But several Indian media outlets have reported that the Indian Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has barred Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corp from the list of companies allowed to work with local companies in 5G technology-based trials due to "security" concerns.Hope the government should take somer action regarding this issue.
We cannot confirm the security breach by Huwaei devices but if its correct than it can cause a graet danger to the country. As India is the larget emerging market for the whole world, every comapny is trying to capture the Indian market and in this case indian government sholud take this issue seriously and act accordingly.
